Coverage Insights

1. Affordable coverage does not mean complete coverage.

2. Subsidized premiums are underwritten by other tax payers and will add to the National debt.

3. There are more free -- preventative upfront coverages.

4. The penalty for the individual mandate will be appx. 1/2 of one months premium (general estimate). Will young people want to take on the financial responsibility?

5. Citizens will be able to get some form of health insurance no matter what.  The question is how much will it cost?

6. There will no more maximum limits on health insurance plans.

7. No one will be cancelled or denied coverage due a pre-exiting condition.

8. Ultimately -- if no premiums can be afforded, Medicaid will be the final option and that will be free.
